We are Refugee Girls Worldwide (RGW), a registered charity dedicated to identifying, safeguarding, and enabling displaced girls to achieve their full potential.
RGW’s Focus: Refugee girls of all ages, from young children to teenagers and adults.
Every girl deserves equal access to safety, education, and all other necessities for a fulfilled life, irrespective of her background or circumstances. Our team works tirelessly to turn this vision into reality through various initiatives, providing refugee girls with the necessary resources and support to thrive and succeed.
How about refugee boys?
We’re often asked if we also provide aid to refugee boys, and the simple answer is yes! While our focus is on addressing the unique challenges girls face, such as early marriages, we recognize that boys encounter difficulties in refugee settings. Therefore, we prioritize supporting the entire family unit to ensure that both girls and boys receive the essential help they need.
What is RGW’s 100% charity model?
We are committed to not charging any administrative costs on program funds, ensuring that every penny you donate goes directly to beneficiaries in the form of food, healthcare, shelter, education, or scholarships. Furthermore, in Canada and the USA, your donations are tax-deductible.
How does RGW achieve this?
Our leadership team consists of volunteers. In addition, we collaborate with regional and local foundations, sponsors, and volunteers to make a meaningful impact in diverse global communities, especially in areas requiring immediate attention.

Over half of the world's school-aged refugee children are not in school. Girls face the highest risk of never attending again. These are not just statistics but real girls with real dreams who are fighting against all odds to get an education. RGW support refugee children, particularly girls, from primary school onward, ensuring their dreams aren’t lost by the turmoil over which they have no say.
