Islamic Giving Opportunities through RGW

“Those who spend their wealth [in Allah's way] by night and by day, secretly and publicly - they will have their reward with their Lord. And no fear will there be concerning them, nor will they grieve.”

Noble Qur’an, Surah Al-Baqarah, 2:274

RGW honours the principles of Islamic charity, ensuring your contributions provide direct relief and empowerment to those in need. Our initiatives align with the values of compassion and community support dictated by Islamic teachings. Through Zakat, sadaqah, and Qurbani, we channel your generosity into life-changing programs for refugee girls and women across the globe.

Zakat

Zakat, an obligatory Islamic act of giving, purifies wealth by distributing a portion to those in need. At RGW, your zakat is channelled into zakat-eligible programs such as food security, educational scholarships, healthcare services, and other essential survival resources, benefiting the most vulnerable.

Qurbani

During Eid al-Adha, your Qurbani (Udhiyah) donations through RGW enable us to perform the sacrificial rites on your behalf. After the sacrifice, we distribute the meat to impoverished refugee families, allowing them to partake in the blessings of this sacred occasion.

Sadaqah

Sadaqah is a voluntary act of charity reflective of personal generosity, meant to benefit the giver as much as the receiver. By contributing sadaqah to RGW, you support our vital projects. Each donation serves as a building block towards greater stability and recovery for those impacted by conflict & adversity.

“Indeed, the men who practice charity and the women who practice charity and [they who] have loaned Allah a goodly loan - it will be multiplied for them, and they will have a noble reward.”

Noble Qur’an, Surah Al-Hadid, 57:18
