For many, managing personal hygiene is a basic daily routine. For displaced women and girls, it is a daunting challenge magnified by crisis.

At RGW, we recognize the profound impact that fundamental hygiene and personal care products can have on health, dignity, and self-esteem. Our Dignity Kits are more than just supplies; they are a crucial intervention in restoring a sense of normalcy and control in lives disrupted by displacement and disaster.

Each RGW Dignity Kit includes essential items such as toothbrushes, soap, toilet paper, sanitary pads, underwear, flip-flops, hairbrushes, medical masks, and sanitisers. These items are critical not only for routine hygiene but also for preventing diseases that can devastate vulnerable populations. They ensure that women and girls can manage their hygiene with dignity, even in the harshest conditions.

We launched our Dignity Kits initiative in Gaza in 2021, addressing the urgent needs of women and girls in dire living situations. The demand escalated dramatically following the events of October 7th, 2023, depleting our stocks completely. We are relentlessly working to replenish our supplies and continue our distributions in the region.

The 2023 earthquake in Turkiye underscored the critical need for these kits. We distributed thousands of Dignity Kits to those affected by the disaster. This experience has reinforced the essential role of such initiatives.
