RGW FLOOD RECOVERY HOMES

Help construct permanent, flood-resilient homes for families in Buner, Pakistan

Permanent Homes Where Families Rebuild Their Lives With Safety, Stability, and Dignity

In District Buner, many families continue to live in unsafe temporary shelters after their homes were destroyed, making it difficult to rebuild their lives.

RGW is constructing 11 permanent, flood-resilient homes for vulnerable families who have been hardest hit by flooding. Built using disaster-resilient construction methods, these homes will provide lasting protection, stability, and the opportunity for families to move forward with dignity.

The project reflects Pakistan's Build Back Better approach by using durable construction and flood-resistant designs to reduce future losses.

Permanent Shelter for Flood-Affected Families

A home is more than four walls. It is safety, security, and a place where families can begin again.

Through this project, RGW will construct permanent homes designed to withstand future flooding while helping families regain stability and independence.

Each home will provide:

  • Safe and permanent shelter

  • Flood-resilient construction

  • Improved privacy and security

  • Healthier living conditions

  • A foundation for long-term recovery
