Outpatient Clinics (OTPs): Three centers have been set up with the Ministry of Health to detect and treat acute malnutrition in 10,500 children under five and 6,370 mothers.
Life-saving Supplements: Vitamin A, iron, folate, and essential micronutrients are being distributed to strengthen fragile bodies.
Caregiver Counseling: 2,025 mothers and caregivers have been trained in breastfeeding and young child feeding to protect babies from malnutrition.
Building Local Capacity: Numerous health workers have been trained in global protocols so care continues long after this crisis.
