Monthly Seminars
and Career Building

RGW's vocational empowerment initiatives in Istanbul, Turkiye, encompass a range of impactful programs.

Partnering with the Refugee Association, RGW hosts monthly seminars and workshops tailored for diverse age groups among refugees, from adolescent girls to women. These sessions are designed to equip participants with valuable skills and knowledge, creating pathways to economic independence and self-reliance.

One of the program’s highlights is the culinary skills program for refugee women, which is vital for community events. These women not only master cooking techniques but also prepare meals for our seminars and cater to external vendors. This dual-purpose approach enhances their skills and opens up income opportunities.

Beyond the kitchen, the program fosters a powerful narrative of unity and collaboration. By bringing together local women from Turkiye and refugees, it transcends cultural barriers and cultivates a deep sense of social cohesion and mutual understanding.

This organic collaboration extends beyond economic empowerment; it creates a supportive network where women uplift and inspire each other, breaking stereotypes and enriching their lives and communities in profound ways. Together, they build bridges and create a more inclusive and vibrant society.
