Ayman is a highly experienced legal counsel with over 15 years of legal practice in Ontario and internationally, specializing in professional regulation, administrative law, and human rights.

As Counsel with the College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants, and formerly as Discipline Counsel with the Law Society of Ontario, Ayman has played a pivotal role in protecting the public interest through complex regulatory and administrative proceedings. He has led high-stakes cases involving misconduct, dishonesty, and fraud, and appeared before different courts and tribunals.

Ayman also brings significant expertise in international and humanitarian law, supported by a strong background in international relations, civil society governance, and conflict-related legal frameworks. Ayman worked as an adjudicator for the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) in the Middle East and North Africa, working directly with displaced populations in conflict and post-conflict settings. He conducted refugee status determinations, developed protection frameworks, and helped manage humanitarian operations under difficult conditions. 

Ayman holds two master’s degrees: a Master of Laws in Canadian Common Law from Osgoode Hall Law School (CA) and a Master of Arts in Human Rights from the University of Sussex (UK).
