EMERGENCY RELIEF FOR
FLOOD-AFFECTED FAMILIES
IN BUNER, PAKISTAN
In August 2025, flash floods devastated Buner District, Pakistan, leaving 450 families (≈3,600 people) without safe shelter, household essentials, or energy. RGW is launching an urgent one-month humanitarian response to raise $101,808 CAD and deliver lifesaving support before winter sets in.

The Crisis
236 lives were lost, 886 homes destroyed, and 124 families displaced as floods swept through Buner District. Schools, farmland, and healthcare facilities lie in ruins. Families, especially women, children, and the elderly, are now facing winter exposed to cold, unsafe living conditions, and preventable illness. Immediate action is critical.
